Atlas Healthcare Facilities Map Structure

Dark Map UI That Actually Feels Alive

The first thing that hits you is that deep dark map canvas with those glowing red heat zones. It looks like a living organism. The white cross icons for health facilities pop hard against the dark background, and the yellow warning triangles create an instant visual hierarchy without any effort from the user.

Panel Layout That Stays Out of the Way

Left sidebar keeps your layers stacked clean. Right panel splits into Data Actions and Layer tabs with a search bar up top. The whole thing follows a pretty standard three-column GIS layout but executes it well. Vector Operations, Raster Operations, Tools & Workflows. Everything is one click deep. No nesting hell.

Smart Use of Color as Information

Red does all the heavy lifting here. Layer indicators, map overlays, facility markers. The blue highlight on the selected layer is subtle but enough. Typography is small and functional. Nothing fancy. Mapbox and OpenStreetMap integrations sitting right there at the bottom of the actions panel. The zoom level indicator showing "10" is a thoughtful little detail for power users who care about precision.
