Clean Table Layout That Just Works

This is Adyen's payments dashboard and it nails the basics. The table is super readable with generous row spacing and a clear column hierarchy. Timestamp, amount, card details, status, response code. Everything a merchant needs at a glance without visual clutter. The Visa badge icons next to the card numbers add just enough color to break up the monochrome table.

That Promo Sidebar Is Smart

The right panel promoting column customization is worth studying. It uses a "NEW" badge with a subtle gradient sparkle icon, a short value prop, and blurred placeholder lines mimicking table rows. That blurred preview is a clever touch. It sells the feature visually without needing a full mock. The blue CTA button at the bottom pops hard against the neutral background, and the "Edit columns later" text link gives users an easy out.

Typography and Color Are Quietly Confident

Everything runs on a tight grayscale palette with blue reserved strictly for interactive elements. Tabs, buttons, links. The type is small but legible, probably 13-14px for table data. Bold amounts in "65.40 USD" draw the eye to what matters most. Functional design done right.
