Clean Empty State Done Right

This is the Roles management page from what looks like an API gateway platform called SaaSFrame. First thing you notice is how quiet it is. The empty state doesn't panic. It just tells you there's nothing here yet and gives you a clear next step. That "Create new role" button in the top right is impossible to miss with its dark fill against all that white space.

Sidebar That Knows Its Place

The left nav is tight. Grouped logically with Authorization expanded to show Roles and Permissions as children. The hierarchy reads instantly. Typography is small but legible, using weight differences instead of color to create contrast. That little "Usage 0%" indicator at the bottom is a subtle touch that keeps you oriented.

What Makes It Work

The column headers (Role, Assigned Keys, Assigned Permissions, Last Updated) tell you exactly what this table will look like once populated. Smart move. The AI search bar up top feels modern without being gimmicky. Monochrome palette with zero decoration. It's confident, functional, and stays out of your way.
