This is a masterclass in restraint. Wise strips the currency conversion flow down to a single question and a single option. The page asks "Which balance do you want to convert from?" and gives you exactly one answer: your EUR balance with 20 EUR. That's it. No sidebar, no upsells, no distractions. The massive white space actually works here because it reinforces focus.

Progress Without Pressure

The top nav uses a subtle two-step progress bar. "Amount" on the left, "Confirm" on the right, connected by a thin line with a filled dot showing where you are. It's lightweight but effective. The Wise wordmark sits in the corner doing nothing fancy, just grounding the page. The close X on the far right gives you a clear escape hatch.

Typography Doing the Heavy Lifting

Bold black heading, smaller gray body text, then the balance card with the EU flag icon. The hierarchy is dead simple. The right-facing chevron on the balance row is the only interactive cue on the entire page. That restraint makes it instantly scannable and almost impossible to misuse.
