# Design from Reference: Checkout.com Empty Invoices Dashboard
Create an original, high-fidelity visual design inspired by the reference. Prioritize composition, typography, colors, spacing, and component styling over technical implementation.
## Reference
- **Product:** Checkout.com
- **Category:** Empty State

Analyze the screenshot first. If inaccessible, request it rather than guessing.
## Content
{{content.instructions}}
{{content.data}}
Preserve essential messaging and factual accuracy. Adapt structure and copy length for visual balance; never invent product claims.
## Visual Design
Use this context to reproduce the reference's visual language: layout, typography, colors, spacing, borders, radii, and distinctive elements. The screenshot takes priority if descriptions conflict.

## Output

Deliver a polished, cohesive design with precise alignment, hierarchy, and spacing. Produce the requested visual artifact, not just a description. If unsupported, explain the limitation.
This invoices page from what looks like a payment platform nails the empty state pattern. The skeleton loading cards stacked in the center give users a visual hint of what's coming without feeling hollow. That soft blue info banner at the top telling you when your next invoices drop is a thoughtful touch. It sets expectations immediately.
Restrained but Functional
The layout is dead simple. Top nav, sub-nav tabs with "Invoices" highlighted in that pill-shaped blue badge, then straight into content. No sidebar clutter. The filter row with dropdowns for periods, currencies, and entities sits right above the table headers, exactly where you'd expect. Typography is minimal, likely Inter or a similar system font, keeping things readable without trying too hard.
What Makes It Work
The "Download Invoice" button is deliberately grayed out when nothing's selected. Smart constraint. The whole page breathes. Generous whitespace everywhere. The copy in the empty state is actually helpful, pointing users to their Customer Success Manager instead of just saying "nothing here." That's good UX writing paired with good design.
